This week’s social media insight is when is the best time to post on Instagram?
Well, it depends! It depends on your industry, your customers and where in the world you are located. I suggest using the analytics on your Instagram account to discover when the best time is for your business.
However, a recent survey discovered that, on average, the best time to post on Instagram is between 8pm and 9pm GMT. However, the level of engagement you get can vary greatly depending on what day of the week you post, too. According to HubSpot the best day to post on Instagram is Thursday, not just at 9 pm GMT, but also at 11 am, 5 pm, and 10pm as people tend to check their phones during lunchtimes and at the end of the day. Also, the various industry sectors tend to do better on different days, too.
