Last week Facebook announced more changes to their algorithm.  Their objective is to keep people on the platform longer and more engaged.

There is a good article explaining it in non-geek speak here but the bottom line for those of us with business pages is that our reach is set to decline, yet again!  It just reinforces that we don’t own the platform, so we need to get our customers and potential customers OFF social media and onto our email list, we can can control when we contact them and we aren’t at the mercy of the Facebook algorithm to decide who sees our content.
